    Verify your product

    Do you know which modem you have? Verify that the Product Number (#) on the bottom of the modem is 64-003453-02 (NOTE: that there is no R at the end). If the code is 64-003453-02R (NOTE: with an R) go to the USR3453C support page.

    Warning! The firmware below should only be used on model USR3453B and is not compatible with RoHS version USR3453C.
    Firmware versions used on USR3453B or 3CP3453 are not compatible with the USR3453C.

    Download the 3453Bv2.2.05.zip file to a temporary location on your hard disk drive. Extract the .zip file to an empty directory on your hard drive. Follow the instructions in the firmware.txt file.

    Drivers

    Note for Windows XP and Server 2003 users: If you do not use V.92 functionality with the USRobotics Internet Call Notification application, you may use the operating system's built-in driver.

    Installation for 32 and 64 bit Windows 8, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2011, and Server 2012

    The modem will install using the default driver provided by Windows .

    Installation file version 6.01.00.5 - Windows Vista 32 bit and 64 bit
    Note: The modem will initially install using the default driver provided by Windows Vista. Our enhanced driver is available by following the instructions below:
    1. Download the file to a temporary location on your computer's hard disk drive.
    2. Double-click the file and follow the USRobotics Modem Installation Wizard to update modem driver.

    Note: USRobotics Internet Call Notification and BVRP PhoneTools are not supported on a 64-bit operating system.
